Engineering design of a safe landfill closure and gas management system for an existing waste site within The Brooks development in New Cairo.
Project Overview
Development of full detailed engineering designs for 26 environmentally sound sanitary landfills across Egypt, supporting national waste infrastructure modernization.
Our Role
Served as Sub-Consultant to the Center for Planning and Architectural Studies (CPAS).
Designed landfill cells, sub-base systems, and geosynthetic liner configurations.
Engineered leachate collection, gas venting, final capping, and stormwater drainage systems.
Prepared detailed construction drawings, technical specifications, CQA plans, BOQs, and cost estimates.
Compiled complete tender documents compliant with national and donor procurement standards.
Key Impact
